General Duties:

• Focus on facility and equipment electrical issues

• Troubleshooting existing installations

• Able to come in after hour call-ins

• Install wiring and cables

• Install, replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes

• Splice, join and connect wires

• Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits

• Troubleshoot and isolate faults

• Install surface mount and/or overhead cables

• Ground and bond electrical equipment, systems and structures

• Renovate electrical systems in commercial structures

• Conduct preventive maintenance programs

• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications

• Performs any other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be eligible to work in Canada

• Licensed 442A or 309A Electrician

• Journeyperson Ticket (Red Seal) Skilled Trades BC Certificate

• Able to work at Heights, use ladders, operate scissor lifts, manlift etc.

• Have valid class 5 driver license

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills

• Knowledge of computers, plc’s, frequency drives and power generation equipment operations

Earnings:

• $46.00 per hour
